It felt like scrolling broke my brain. I almost forgot how it felt to be in that “flow” state.
My brain learned to expect fast rewards. So I built Focus Kitten to reteach it: focus 20 minutes,
then get the coin-reward.

Will it run on my Mac? Yes.
~95% of Macs run Focus Kitten just fine.

If you’re on macOS 14 Sonoma or newer — yes. Even a 2017 MacBook runs it just fine.

Is it free?

It can be — invite 4 friends and Focus Kitten is yours free, forever. Otherwise you get 14 days free (no card needed), then it’s $3 a month, or $25 a year.

Do I need an account?

No account, no sign-up. Focus Kitten lives on your Mac and keeps your focus data to itself.

Is there a version for iPhone?

Not yet — Focus Kitten is a brand-new project and lives on your Mac for now. But if enough of you want it on iPhone, I’ll build it. Leave your email and I’ll send you the link the moment it’s ready.

Is there a version for Windows?

Not yet — it’s Mac-only while the project finds its feet. But if enough people want a Windows version, I’ll make it happen.
